Since committing to Gargett Gallery, a commercial studio and gallery in a small country town west of Mackay, Queensland, Lesley has produced some of her best artwork in a variety of media, and while she mainly focuses on painting she loves drawing and printmaking.

She has recently attended an intensive painting workshop at Cooee Bay near Yeppoon,  and then learned the basics of soapstone sculpture at the Sculptors Queensland base at Brisbane. 

She enjoys her role as a Flying Arts rep, and can't help but become involved in creative local community events.
